Am looking for something healthier for my breakfast/snack and bumped into various recipes using oatmeal. That's where this 3 Ingredients Oatmeal Cookies can be a wonderful treat not only for me but for the whole family.
This is darn easy and the last ingredient is variable according to your preference. The suggested add in are:
raisin/dried fruit, coconut, peanut butter chips or chopped nuts.
I love my cookies to be super cute so have shaped them into 1/2 in tiny balls but this entirely up to you.
Banana adds sufficient sweetness and moistness to this healthy cookies so we can avoid those fat and sugar from our diet.
3 INGREDIENTS OATMEAL COOKIES
Yield : 18 cookies
1 cup rolled oat
1/2 cup mashed banana (2 banana)
3-4 tablespoon chocolate rice (sprinkles)
METHOD
1. Preheat oven @ 180 C and grease your cookie sheet.

3. Add in chocolate rice (sprinkles), mix to combine.
4. Pinch mixture into small balls, flatten slightly.

6. Bake until firm for 15 minutes.

ReplyDeleteThese looks great! I saw another recipe lately that called for a mashed banana instead of an egg and wasn't sure how that would work with the consistency, I'll have to give it a go!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw 3 ingredient oatmeal cookies, I have to admit that I wasn't expecting bananas and chocolate! ReplyDeleteMorning,
ReplyDeleteThese cookies sure look good and easy.....love that part, and love
having some oatmeal type cookies to
grab if I am hungry and want some
thing in a hurry. These fit the bill. When you say sprinkles are those the decorating sprinkles they
use for cakes and stuff??
I have a 3 ingredient or gluten free peanut butter cookies recipe and they are great too.
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg or eggbeater
1 cup sugar (I only use 1/2 cup)
Mix it all up and bake at 350 degrees for about 6 mins. don't
let them brown too much. I also
sprinkle just a lil sugar on top before I bake them. I keep
them in the fridge and think it makes them taste better. They
are yummy and easy too.
Will sure be trying these, thanks for sharing the recipe.
Blessings, Nellie
Perfect with a cup of coffee, healthy cookies
