A delightful and moist, Easy Sour Cream Cake for our tea-time treat this week.

There are tons of recipe for this cake that was rich and decadent, but sometimes you need just a quick dessert that was  simple and delicious.   That is what this Easy Sour Cream Cake for me,  the perfect easy treat to make.

For lighter version, opt for oil  instead of butter  As for the topping,  chopped nuts like  walnut, pecan, pistachio, hazelnut  can be added in place of chocolate chips and double the sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar plus 1/4 cup white sugar.

Despite using just a wire whisk, no-mixer, this cake  produces an incredible result,  tender and no-crack.

I've never tried sour cream before. I do bake lots of cakes and muffins with greek yogurt, so maybe this turns out similar. Thank you for sharing the recipe at The Really Crafty Link Party. Pinned!

This is probably the fourth time I'm reading on of your delicious sour cream cake recipes and I keep on promising myself to try it. This time I was clever though, I actually printed the recipe so I can buy everything this afternoon and give it a shot. Wish me luck, I'm a terrible baker, but all your recipes are so easy to follow and this one doesn't sound complicated at all

That looks delicious! I wonder if you could sub greek yogurt for the sour cream (running low on sour cream!)? I'd love for you to come share at Let's Party https://themarkandjanshow.com/2018/01/31/lets-party-6/ ... we look forward to seeing you there!
